Hockey is officially back in Alberta as the Alberta Elite Hockey League’s 2022-23 regular season gets underway across the province on Saturday.
The U18 AAA and U15 AAA schedules both kick off on October 1, while the new U17 AAA season begins on October 7.
The U18 AAA season gets going with a slate of eight games on Saturday and Sunday, while U15 AAA will see a full schedule of ten games each day over the weekend.
The Alberta Female Hockey League season also gets underway this weekend, as the U18 AAA division kicks off its regular season on Saturday, October 1.
Meanwhile, The U18 AA and U15 AA divisions will each hit the ice beginning Friday for their respective Firestarter tournaments, which will see a weekend of exhibition play for all teams.
