RED DEER – The U18 AAA, U17 AAA, U15 AAA, and U13 AAA divisions of the Alberta Elite Hockey League have released the schedule for the 2026–27 season.
As the new season takes shape, the AEHL also officially welcomes three new teams into three divisions. The PAC Saints begin their inaugural season in the U18AAA division, while the Timberwolves are beginning their first season in the U17AAA and U15AAA divisions.
The U18 AAA season opens on September 25, with the Calgary Northstars facing off against the Okotoks Bow Mark Oilers. The division’s Showcase weekend will take place October 10–11, hosted by Hockey Edmonton and the Edmonton Junior Oilers. The regular season wraps up on February 21.
The U17 AAA division begins play on October 2, with Okotoks travelling to Lethbridge. The NWCAA Calgary Flames are hosting the U17 AAA Showcase from December 18–20, and the U17 season concludes on March 7.
The U15 AAA season also gets underway on September 25, as the Calgary Bisons take on Lethbridge. The Showcase is scheduled for January 28–31 in Leduc, hosted by the Leduc Junior Athletic Club and LJAC Oil Kings. The U15 regular season ends on February 28.
The U13 AAA division is also kicking off on September 25, featuring the Camrose Vikings visiting the GPAC Storm. The regular season is slated to end on March 7.
